THIS is really getting to be too much. If my parents were still alive I'm sure that they would find this a bit too familiar (they both lived through the "Big Depression") and would be appalled that we are at this place, at this time.
It's like the "new and improved" depression v 2.0! It's the same cast of characters, telling the same lies, filled with the same greed, but in better suits and flying in private jets instead of private airplanes.
This NEEDS to stop!
The ongoing search for the ever evasive "TRUTH" that we have all heard so much about.

Hi! I wanted to welcome you, and give you an idea of what I, and my blog, are about.
I'm a student in the classical sense, currently studying Psychology at the University of Arizona, but I'm also a student of life. At my age, it is an interesting endeavor.
My political affiliation is Independent, but I can not for the life of me find much that I agree with from the Republican Party, never really have. I am socially progressive, economically conservative, and believe that WE have an obligation to support our Nation by PAYING OUR TAXES to allow the Government to be funded to functionality. I admit there are instances of fraud, waste, and abuse, but I do not believe it is part of some HUGE LIBERAL CONSPIRACY to defraud OURSELVES of our HARD EARNED MONEY.
I believe it was a Republican who said "Government is ineffective at providing for the general good, and if you'll elect me to office, I'll prove it!"
I've long thought that I was a fairly scientific individual, but my recent studies have shown me that I was prone to much of the "Folk Psychology" that is prevalent in our society, I believed too much that I hadn't been shown empirical evidence for. I've always been a skeptic, but now I know why.
So, I am now on a new mission. I am looking for the TRUTH that I've heard so much about, and I will not stop until I find it.

I don't mind (in fact I genuinely enjoy) a good debate, but I will not engage in your fantasy world, I'm too busy getting out of mine to be bothered with that.
